SonoBlock II

Echogenic, Non-Stimulating Single Shot Nerve Block Needle

SonoBlock needles were especially developed by Pajunk for single shot nerve block applications, allowing for placement under ultrasound guidance only. Like the SonoPlex the SonoBlock also includes the patented Cornerstone Reflectors for optimized needle echogenicity. The new generation of Sono needles combines the proven needle shaft and needle tip visibility with a new optimised needle hub.

SonoBlock II Overview

SonoBlock II Features & Advantages

1. Echogenic Needle Tip

  • Facet tip with two inclination angles
  • Improves needle tip visibility under ultrasound

2. Cornerstone Reflectors

  • 360 degree graduations on the first 20 mm of the needle
  • Optimised ultrasound visibility of needle shaft and needle tip
  • Reliable and optimized needle echogenicity at higher angles

3. NanoLine Coating

  • Very thin polymer film on inner and outer needle surface
  • Improves visibility under ultrasoundExcellent puncture and gliding properties through smooth surface
  • Precise stimulation through the non-insulated needle tip

4. Depth Markings and Smooth Needle Surface

  • Easy to read and identify
  • Smooth gliding properties

5. Non-removable Injection Tubing

  • Closed system
  • No leakage

6. Colour-Coded Needle Hub

  • Easy identification of needle size
